Chapter 10 in Trading Thalesians, 2014, pp 179-181 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract We started our book by discussing why we started the Thalesians. In particular, we recounted the story of Thales of Miletus and his profitable olive press option trade. The creation of the Thalesians gave me the idea that there was something today’s traders could learn from the ancient world, starting me along the path which culminated in this book.
