Chapter Chapter 11 in Analytics and Modern Warfare, 2014, pp 107-109 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract As with ongoing research into any type of analytical model, one of the most time-consuming but necessary operations to increasing the effectiveness and success of the analyses is the identification of relevant variables, and their proper incorporation into functional equations. Just like with descriptive analytics, this requires a great degree of somewhat tedious data mining, but with predictive analytics, the identification of these models and variables allow for the development of some very interesting tools.
