Challenges and Limitations
Michael Taillard
Chapter Chapter 5 in Analytics and Modern Warfare, 2014, pp 61-63 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract No field of study has limitless potential, or is without its challenges, and understanding what cannot be accomplished is just as important, potentially more-so, than knowing what can be accomplished. Each part of this book, then, will include a chapter briefly describing the challenges and limitations associated with the respective types of analytics being described. This is to help define exactly when it is appropriate to use these methods, when it is not, and what one might expect from their implementation.
