Abstract: Abstract In recent decades, our society’s awareness concerning equal treatment and equal opportunities for women and men has mounted. This attention, especially driven by the European Union (EU), has been reinforced by the adoption of regulations and the implementation of policies promoting women’s access to equal opportunities, which has gradually produced visible results.
