A Midlife Reinvention
Karol M. Wasylyshyn
Chapter Chapter 6 in Destined to Lead, 2014, pp 127-148 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract At its core, this case involved an executive’s existential struggle between the successful person he had become versus the person whom he really longed to be. I discovered quickly that what made Max feel truly passionate in his work hovered over like a thousand fireflies. And like the June fireflies, these moments came and went but not without leaving just enough light for him to be haunted about the possibility of a very different future. Increasingly, he could envision himself stepping away from his corporate role and toward what he believed he was destined to do.
