Abstract In his research paper “Faith in Supervision and The Self-Enhancement Bias,” Professor Jeffrey Pfeffer says one of the reasons managers don’t delegate is “self-enhancement bias.”1 They think no one can do the job as well as they can. I’m incredulous that young executives are not delegating because they don’t think anyone can make travel arrangements as well as they can.
