Abstract:
Abstract Innovation is uppermost in the minds of decision makers across Europe. In recent years, the connection between innovation and gender has attracted increased interest among policymakers, researchers, and business leaders. There is considerable interest in the design of new measures to get more women involved in technology and process innovations in the business enterprise sector. In the policymaking context, innovation is considered a prerequisite for economic growth (Danilda and Thorslund, 2011).
