Chapter 9 in Corporate Culture in Multinational Companies, 2014, pp 120-158 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Corporate governance is defined as the system by which corporations are directed and controlled. Control of a corporation has both micro and macro aspects. The micro aspects include the management of operations, production, human resources, finance, and marketing. These aspects are covered by organizational culture. At the macro level corporate governance means how the corporate managers reflect the values of the shareholders and how the shareholders influence corporate management.
