Epilogue

Simon Lancaster

A chapter in Winning Minds, 2015, pp 204-205 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract T.S. Eliot said that the end of our exploring is to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.1 So let’s return to the two images that started this book: on the one hand, the disillusionment apparent in the Red Lion in today’s leaders; on the other hand, the sheer joy and elation shared by 250,000 Londoners in Hyde Park in summer 2012.
