Collaborative Quotient

Chapter Chapter 13 in Learning Leadership in a Changing World, 2014, pp 131-142 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In the New Normal, no Leader—no matter how talented—can go it alone. The strength of many, not just a few, is required to secure the welfare and progress of the organization. This requires a high level of collaborative capability. A collaborative approach to leadership does not mean Leaders abstain from exercising their technical—managerial competence and charisma. Rather, it means they employ what charisma and competence they possess as a catalyst to release the collective strength of the organization—the diverse talent and unique perspective of many.
