The Direction Setter Role
Mark W. Mccloskey
Chapter Chapter 14 in Learning Leadership in a Changing World, 2014, pp 145-153 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract New Normal organizations need a keen sense of strategic clarity around some basic questions: What difference must we make in the world? Do we know and practice what is core and nonnegotiable? Is there a seamless connection between what we promise to the world, and how we conduct our day-to-day organizational life? The Direction Setter Role addresses these critical questions (see Figure 14.1).
