Results and Relationships: Back to the Core
Mark W. Mccloskey
Chapter Chapter 24 in Learning Leadership in a Changing World, 2014, pp 263-266 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The New Normal wilderness cannot be tamed. However, it can be productively engaged. This requires the personal and collective expression of virtue. This is sobering news, but also good news. Leaders and member-leaders do not have to be powerfully charismatic or hypercompetent to make a sustainable difference. Although the New Normal operating environment is demanding, it does not demand perfection from individuals or organizations—just the willingness to maintain a humble, learner stance and collaborate along the way.
