Chapter Chapter 3 in Building the Team Organization, 2015, pp 31-46 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The model of cooperative goals and open-minded discussion introduced in Chapter 2 provides a common guide for developing productive teamwork throughout the organization. Employees can use the model to work together to understand, become committed, and strengthen their co -operative teamwork. Team members learn the model through cooperative teamwork and open-minded discussions. The methods to understand and apply the model reinforce the message. As they work together to understand the model, they gain experience in working cooperatively and discussing issues open-mindedly. They have concrete examples of what it means to work as a cooperative team.
