Abstract:
Abstract Dr. John J. Medina is a developmental molecular biologist and research consultant. He is the author of the long-running New York Times bestseller Brain Rules: 12 Principles for Surviving and Thriving at Work, Home, and School (2008). More recently he has written Brain Rules for Babies: How to Raise a Smart and Happy Child from Zero to Five (2010). He lectures worldwide on insight from the brain based on tested research. Dr. Medina has been a frequent on-air commentator for radio and television, including appearances on CNN, NBC, and CBC. He speaks often to state legislatures, school boards, and at psychiatric conferences.
