PROMOTE Processes
Ali M. Al-Khouri
Chapter 6 in Program Management of Technology Endeavours, 2015, pp 175-209 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter provides a detailed understanding of various program and project management processes suggested by PROMOTE. The elements highlighted here are to be viewed as integral components of PROMOTE. They are key elements in viewing how this work builds up and then expands the current body of knowledge. However, most of the program control elements and reporting mechanisms will be covered in the next chapter. The rich experience from UAE projects and feedback from other similar projects indicate that these processes would have a beneficial impact on the implementation of large-scale technology projects in general and national ID programs in particular.
