Chapter 15 in The Executive’s Guide to Financial Management, 2012, pp 399-401 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract We have identified major trends affecting the future of financial management and presented highly effective techniques that can help financial officers move from a focus on coping with the day-to-day demands of a job to becoming strategic partners to the president and making major contributions to moving the company to a distinctly higher level of performance. Although financial professionals are generally aware of these trends, they seldom perform any systematic analysis of what is happening, and they often do not think through the implications for their careers.
