Circular Business Models: Evaluation, Enablers, and Ecosystems

Peter Lacy and Jakob Rutqvist

Chapter Chapter 9 in Waste to Wealth, 2015, pp 117-130 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The five circular business models not only prepare companies for a resource-constrained future, but they also help companies understand customer behavior and preferences in entirely new ways and provide competitive advantage in the short term. Many companies are noticing competitors and start-ups adopting these models, and some are painfully realizing that early adopters of circular principles are beginning to dominate markets and win approval in large customer segments.
