Chapter 3 in Experimental Economics, 2015, pp 34-52 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter presents the basic concepts of game theory used in this book. The main objective is to provide the necessary basis for understanding the analysis and the answers to questions posed in the other chapters.1 We start by explaining the concept of a game, and then proceed to study different types of games under the assumption of complete information, as well as corresponding notions of equilibrium.
