Jeffrey Harrod
Chapter Chapter 8 in Transnational Industrial Relations, 1972, pp 173-194 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The impact of foreign corporations on less-developed countries has usually been considered in relation to national income, capital accumulation, balance of payments and technological transfer while the more general aspects have received less attention. The purpose of this chapter is to examine some of the broader social and political effects of the foreign corporation with special reference to trade unions and industrial relations.
