Chapter 11 in A Practical Approach to Business Investment Decisions, 1979, pp 213-221 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract In the preparation of this work certain U.K. companies were visited, not only to ascertain empirical evidence of the methods currently adopted but also to assist the orientation of this text towards areas which present practical as opposed to theoretical problems. These findings have been incorporated in the text under the relevant subject headings but it may be appropriate to provide a brief summary in this concluding chapter.
