The American Experience

Chapter 11 in The Control of Staff-Related Overhead, 1976, pp 140-155 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract As mentioned earlier in this book the growth of the white-collar labour force as a proportion of the total labour force has gone further in the U.S. than in the U.K. Internationally the U.S. situation is still the extreme case of such growth, and is therefore of key importance internationally.
