Industrial Property: Patents and Trade Marks
John Paxton
Chapter 11 in The Developing Common Market, 1976, pp 132-137 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The term ‘Industrial Property’ is used in this chapter in its proper context of patents, trade marks and design. International law on patents is a field of activity in which, strictly speaking, a layman in such matters can only comment with some reserve. Nevertheless, it cannot be avoided altogether if one is to do justice in an examination of the provisions of the Treaty of Rome to the changes which are taking place in the Common Market, and which must vitally affect industry in Britain in its production, licensing, and marketing plans for Europe in the future.
