Chapter 16 in The International Allocation of Economic Activity, 1977, pp 538-550 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract We shall devote the first part of our concluding remarks to some reflections about trade theory provoked by the conference papers, and even more by the discussion, then we shall attempt some comparison of international trade theory and location theory — one aim being to see what trade theory can learn from location theory — and finally we shall comment on the papers and discussion dealing with development economics.1
