Abstract: Abstract This case is designed to allow a discussion of transfer pricing, departmentalisation and profit centre management in an environment with which almost every participant in the class can be expected to have had some experience. Some of the problems arising from decentralised management procedures are encapsulated in the case in a very simple form but they are nonetheless complex in implication.
