A chapter in Accounting Control and Financial Strategy, 1979, pp 31-34 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This case describes the history and justification of a capital investment project. It is typical of how many investment proposals evolve in organisations. Consequently it is more illuminating in terms of the strategic, control and organisational context of capital budgeting than of the techniques of appraisal per se.
