Chapter 7 in Developing Managers for the 1980s, 1981, pp 112-125 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The challenge of industrial life in the 1980s is to create work environments where all employees can participate in the decision-making processes within the organisation and, ultimately to share in the fruits of their efforts. This chapter will explore the state of participative management practice and the management education and training techniques which will be needed to support this development.
