Analysis and Planning of the Spatial Economy
Roger Vickerman
Chapter 8 in Spatial Economic Behaviour, 1980, pp 165-180 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract We have now outlined all the analytical tools necessary for consideration of the spatial economy. We have also, en route, encountered most of the problems which are likely to arise in the operation of such an economy. It is the task of this chapter to draw together these various analytical threads. into a coherent framework and to consider ways in which by so improving our understanding of the working of a local economy we can improve its planning and our evaluation of policy measures.
