Chapter 27 in Revolution and Economic Development in Cuba, 1981, pp 200-209 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The 1st Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba in December 1975 provided the occasion for a political celebration of the economic success attained in the preceding years. It also provided an opportunity to consolidate—or at least clearly articulate—the policy changes of the early 1970s and set the directions for Cuban development in the subsequent period.
