The Economic Theory of the Labour-managed Firm
Frank H. Stephen
Chapter 1 in The Performance of Labour-Managed Firms, 1982, pp 3-26 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter sets the scene for the succeeding chapters by presenting a brief review of the theoretical literature on the economics of the labour-managed firm. It is hoped that this will provide an overview of how this field of scholarship has developed and the requisite theoretical framework for an understanding of the individual country studies.
