Abstract:
Abstract The reasons for labour shortages and their treatment in individual countries are discussed in other chapters. This chapter is intended to be of comparative nature; it discusses the similarities and the differences in the reasons for labour shortages and their treatment, and the extent to which they reflect similarities and differences in the systems of management and their subsystems in the countries under review.
