Comment on John Kay’s Paper

A. Patrick Minford

A chapter in Monetarism in the United Kingdom, 1984, pp 205-210 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract John Kay’s work on North Sea oil has rightly been widely read and influential; his presentation of it too has been persuasive. My comments on it are essentially on matters of degree and empirical magnitudes, though they stem also from a disagreement about detailed methods.
