Abstract:
Abstract The UK forklift truck industry is a post-war industry. Between 1951 and 1961 production nearly trebled, as it did between 1961 and 1971; it reached 24,000 in 1974, but has declined sharply in the recent recession (Business Monitor, 1951–76).
