A chapter in The Soviet Impact on Commodity Markets, 1984, pp 1-5 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The objective of this volume is to assess the role of the Soviet Union in the international trade of basic minerals and agricultural commodities. The long-term trends in Soviet trading patterns, their implication for international commodity markets as well as for a broader system of international economic and political relations are here of major concern.
