Abstract:
Abstract Only a few years ago microcomputers were mainly used by hobbyists and were then referred to as home computers, to differentiate them from mini and mainframe machines. The market for microcomputers has, however, expanded in the past few years and sales worldwide are measured in billions of dollars. Hundreds of microcomputer manufacturers compete agressively to win a share of the market in the home, school, office and factory. In this survey alone, details of over 200 business computers are presented.
