Energy within the Trade between Finland and the Soviet Union

Kalervo Hentilä

Chapter 9 in Finnish-Soviet Economic Relations, 1983, pp 93-99 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The trade between Finland and the Soviet Union has expanded radically during the past few years: since 1960 its volume has become more than twenty-fold. This increase has even exceeded the growth rate of Finland’s external trade in total. In 1980, the Soviet Union was number one among Finland’s trade partners and Finland held the second place among all the market economies with which the USSR had trade relations.
