Portfolio Analysis and Property Performance

Angus P. J. McIntosh and Stephen G. Sykes

Chapter 12 in A Guide to Institutional Property Investment, 1985, pp 231-272 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines analysis as ‘resolution into simple elements’. To this may be added the rider that such analysis should be carried out with the objective of adding to the understanding of the particular situation under scrutiny. This is an important caveat which is often neglected.
