Abstract:
Abstract The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines analysis as ‘resolution into simple elements’. To this may be added the rider that such analysis should be carried out with the objective of adding to the understanding of the particular situation under scrutiny. This is an important caveat which is often neglected.
