Abstract: Abstract In March 1937, Ducilo Argentina S. A. opened up its rayon manufacturing plant on the outskirts of the city of Buenos Aires. This was the first time rayon was to be produced in Argentina, sixteen years after DuPont opened its first rayon-manufacturing plant in Buffalo, New York.
