Chapter 11 in Excellence in Banking, 1985, pp 128-137 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The preceding chapter constitutes a photograph of current management practices at the excellent banks. One of the questions posed in the interview process was how the excellent banks envisaged the future with particular reference to how these practices might evolve. The objective of this final chapter is therefore to pull together these comments and to integrate them with the author’s own perception of trends in the banking sector.
