Development Methods
Malcolm Higgs
Chapter 8 in Management Development Strategy in the Financial Sector, 1988, pp 152-170 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In earlier chapters in this book the limitations of equating management development with management training and education have been clearly highlighted. This is not to deny that in any development programme there will be a need for some training and educational elements. However, an effective management development strategy will need to employ a range of methods, in order to meet the overall objectives.
