Chapter 10 in Bankers’ and Public Authorities’ Management of Risks, 1990, pp 170-174 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract A healthy banking sector can only exist in a healthy economy. Internal and external monetary stability, sound fiscal policies, and flexible markets are prerequisites for the healthy functioning of all sectors of the economy. Looking after, and improving the national macroeconomic framework and enhancing the development of the banking sector, are by far the most important tasks of the Minister of Finance.
