Chapter 14 in Business Workshop, 1991, pp 146-150 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Money is sometimes needed in an office to buy small items such as tea, coffee, sugar, and so on. It would be impractical to pay for such things by cheque, so a small amount of money is kept in a lockable box to pay for them, hence the name petty cash.
