Homa Shabahang

Chapter 10 in Essays on the Cold War, 1992, pp 163-184 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract At the end of the cold war it is possible to look at the causes of conflict in wider perspective. This chapter was written in 1990, in an attempt to generalize from the experience of a world close to war since the beginning of the Twentieth Century. It was originally published in the Journal of Conflict Resolution [Wolfson and Shabahang, 1991a].
