Abstract: Abstract Twenty-five years after the publication of the definitive second edition of Money, Interest, and Prices (MIP) and thirty-four years since the thirty-four year old author published the first edition, we meet to honour Don Patinkin. We will honour him most in discussing his major scientific work — its contents, its impact, and its contributions — by trying to emulate the objectivity and careful scrutiny to which Patinkin subjects the work of others.1
