Abstract: Abstract In a paper presented at a meeting of the British Association for the Advancement of Science held in 1862, Jevons gave a foretaste of his Theory of Political Economy which was to appear nine years later. An abstract of this paper was published in 1863,1 while the full version of it was published in 1866.2
