Abstract:
Abstract This chapter will examine issues relating to subsidies and countervailing measures and make recommendations for changes in existing rules on the basis of economic considerations. This will be done by analyzing, successively, the concepts of subsidies, countervailing measures and serious prejudice, nullification or impairment, and the special treatment of developing countries.
