Abstract: Abstract I would like to welcome you to the Sixth International Conference organized by the Institute for Monetary and Economic Studies. It is a great honor for the Institute, and also for the Bank of Japan, that so many distinguished experts from fellow central banks, international organizations, and academic institutions have gathered here to participate in this meeting.
