Chapter 3 in Hungary since Communism, 1997, pp 35-48 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Following our presentation of the economic system which prevailed in Hungary under the communist regime, we now intend to explore some of the characteristic features of enterprises themselves. In so doing, we will pay particular attention to the conditions of workers and those who were responsible for directing the workforce as well as to the relationship between workers and their managers.
