Environmental Management Tools for Strategic Control

Ulrich Steger and Ralph Meima

Chapter 13 in The Strategic Dimensions of Environmental Management, 1998, pp 177-192 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract As with Strategic planning, the management tools for strategic control need to be extended. This must be done in such a way that environmental information — which is normally structured differently from conventional business information — can be captured, prepared, and fed into the decision-making process with as little wasted effort and disruption as possible.
