Chapter 14 in Sectoral Analysis of Trade, Investment and Business in Vietnam, 1999, pp 137-147 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The greatest and most embraced characteristic influencing the formation and development of the techno-scientific fields in the period 1945–85 was that the objective and solutions implementing the development of science-technology were connected with the strategic objectives of the revolution for national liberation. However, since 1954, when the North restored and developed the economy, and since 1975, when the country was reunified, one of the objectives of science-technology has been to contribute to the serving of economic development.
