Trade, Investment and Business in Vietnam: Issues in Development and Operation

Van Tran

Chapter 21 in Sectoral Analysis of Trade, Investment and Business in Vietnam, 1999, pp 203-205 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract In the preceding chapters, detailed information and a sound analysis of the conditions of the local demand for and the local supply of trade, investment and business (TIB), and other co-operation in Vietnam have been provided by noted writers in their relevant areas of expertise. The conclusions we can derive from this information and analysis indicate that there is a huge surplus of demand over supply, and Vietnam, at this stage of its economic development, cannot meet it alone. Ample opportunities exist for trade, investment and business for foreign corporations and individual investors.
